OFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS FOR TORRANCE

Welcome to the Torrance Elections Website

Elections are the heart of a democracy.  Voters have the privilege of choosing leaders that set the direction for the community, the county, the state and federal governments.  Torrance is a large city with over 74,000 registered voters that has a hometown feeling to it.  We take pride in our community and it shows in the caliber of leaders we have had over the years.

In order to make your vote count to the fullest we are presenting information that we trust will assist you in making an informed decision when you either go down to you polling place or mark a Vote By Mail ballot on election day.

Take part in your community.

  • Come out to Candidate Forums where you can ask questions on your topics of interest,
  • Watch the videotaped candidate forum held on April 18,
  • Learn more information about Measure A,
  • Watch the Open Mic program sponsored by the Cable Television Advisory Board and Torrance Community Television Channel 28 and also shown on Verizon FiOS Cannel 36 where candidates give you 3 minutes of who they are and why you should vote for them,

  • Use the links to verify your voter registration; and more.

This new webpage is still under construction as we are a small department with other weekly duties.
